Hey, I’m Sherrie!

I grew up in the San Gabriel Valley in California and was there most of my life. I loved the beaches and city life. In high school I was a Track and Field sprinter and jumper and even though I loved the sport my heart wasn’t in it 100%, so I found strength training after high school which led me to California State University of Los Angeles to pursue my career in Kinesiology.

I’ve always been passionate about fitness and wellness, but it wasn’t until after recovering from a back injury that eventually led to competing in bodybuilding that I realized how transformative it could be—not just for the body, but for the mind and character too. As a queer masc-presenting woman, fitness has helped me find what it means to be confident in my body inside and out and I know it can help others too.

After graduating with my B.S. in Kinesiology I am currently living in Ohio with my partner, Charity and we are loving this change. As a personal trainer with over 6 years of experience. I truly believe that fitness should be about more than just looking good. It’s about feeling good, both physically and mentally, and finding strength in ways that go beyond the gym.

Throughout my journey, I’ve worked with people from all walks of life, helping them move better, feel stronger, and create sustainable habits. But what I love most about being a trainer is getting to connect with people and seeing how fitness can realistically change their lives inside and out. Whether it's helping someone hit their first push-up or guiding a client through a challenging moment, those little victories are what fuels my passion.

Outside of personal training, I am a competitive bodybuilder. When I’m not in the gym, I love rollerblading and exploring the city whether it's going to an event, museum, the beach or even a nice bar. I believe it’s just as important to prioritize joy and recovery as it is to work on your health and fitness.

What I DON’T believe in are quick fixes or cookie-cutter approaches. Every person I work with has their own story and goals, and I’m here to help navigate that journey with them. My training style is centered around building real strength, improving mobility, and staying consistent—no gimmicks, no bullshit, just hard work and honesty.
